- I feel compelled to tell you a story about my
daughter who was in Mayan Riviera Dec. 28th 2012 to Jan.
This was my daughterís first trip
alone with friends; she is 19 years old and had saved
for this trip for over a year.
When her plane landed, her luggage
was nowhere to be found at the airport and she was
obviously devastated. When they went to leave on the
shuttle bus to the resort, it would not start and took
an extra almost 2 hours to arrive.
My daughterís friends told me she
was in tears when they finally got to the resort feeling
that she had made a mistake.
While my daughter was standing in
the lineup to check in a man walked up and asked if she
was ok. My daughter snapped at him at first and told
him the story.
Well the man kindly said to her.
After you check in, go out on the balcony and have a
drink, relax and wait for him and him to return. He said
that he would be about 10 minutes.
So they did as they were told and
waited for the man to return.
About 10 minutes later the man
walked up and left a gift wrapped box on the table, told
us to enjoy our stay and walked away.
The box had a card attached to it
and it said that he had a daughter about the same age as
her and that she should enjoy her trip.
When she opened the box, it had an
assortment of 6 swimsuits, three bikinis and two one
piece swimsuits, two cover ups, a sarong and two
beautiful evening dresses.
It was signed RJ
Well it turns out RJ is the owner
of Tropical Beach Swimwear and Fashion. He turned a bad
experience into a memorable one for my daughter and I
wanted to thank him for helping her. Her luggage showed
up on the third morning
